Turned Leaf Psychiatry, LLC provides specialized behavioral health evaluation and consultation services for courts, attorneys, government agencies, employers, families, and other authorized parties. Services may be provided pursuant to court order, attorney referral, agency request, employer referral, or other appropriate referral source.

Our forensic and legal services may include:

Court-Ordered & Court-Referred Evaluations

  • Court-appointed and court-referred psychiatric and psychological evaluations

  • Fitness-for-service and fitness-for-duty behavioral health evaluations

  • Assessment of psychiatric stability and functional capacity as relevant to the referral

  • Evaluation of whether behavioral health or substance-use concerns may affect an individual's ability to safely and effectively perform identified responsibilities

  • Recommendations regarding treatment, monitoring, follow-up, or return to service when clinically appropriate

Legal & Clinical Recommendations

When appropriate to the referral question and supported by the evaluation, Turned Leaf Psychiatry may provide written clinical recommendations regarding treatment, substance-use intervention, psychiatric care, therapy, monitoring, additional assessment, functional limitations, or other reasonable behavioral health measures.

Evaluations are individualized and based on the specific referral question, available clinical information, collateral information when appropriate, applicable professional standards, and the scope of practice and qualifications of the evaluating clinician. The nature and scope of each evaluation may vary depending on the legal, clinical, occupational, or administrative matter involved.
